More about me
Kira Aranow, MSW, LCSW
I’m Kira (she/her)! I’m a licensed clinical social worker serving Wisconsin, Colorado, and Florida online. My approach is culturally responsive, strengths-based, collaborative, and employs an anti-oppressive framework.
I’m drawn to working with people who feel like they don’t quite fit in and are exhausted by holding it all together. I focus on ADHD as well as issues of identity, belonging, cultural differences, family expectations, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with adults who feel caught between cultures or generations, neurodivergent minds, and anyone feeling stuck who wants to live in a way more true to themselves.
My interest in this work comes from my professional education, training, and my own life. I have personal experience living between cultures and with ADHD that has given me appreciation for what’s it like to feel like an outsider, to adapt yourself to fit your surroundings, and to wonder where you really belong. I’ve also worked with immigrant families for nearly a decade. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
I’m interested in the space between who we are and who we’ve learned we’re supposed to be: the parts of ourselves we hide, the roles we take on, the ways we adapt to keep up and feel loved. Together, we can make sense of your patterns, take control of the narrative, and work toward a life that feels more genuinely your own.
You don't have to become someone else to belong or to be loved. Together, we’ll explore your experiences in context, define your goals, and build a sense of belonging that starts with you.
Let’s talk! Schedule a 15 minute consultation with me to make sure we’re a good fit.
